Caroline started playing ultimate at Amherst Regional High School in 2002, back in the days when Gaia was the only company making frisbee gear and Krispy Kreme still gave out free hot donuts. She continued at Tufts University, where she was relegated to the slOw-line and where her greatest accomplishment was getting her team to wear matching shorts. Since then, she has played for women’s and mixed club teams in Boston, Tianjin, Beijing and now Istanbul, where she currently lives. Caroline teaches high school biology and has taught many of her students around the world how to self-referee and settle disputes fairly and peacefully by using the age-old method of rock-paper-scissors. This will be Caroline’s third year at UP, and she is again looking forward to helping spread the spirit of peace in the Middle East while stuffing her face with hummus.
