Dana currently coaches Ultimate and Basketball across the greater Boston and Cambridge area. She currently sits on the Athletics Redesign Committee for Boston Public Schools and serves as a Coach Educator with Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance. (BUDA) Her service with BUDA does not stop there, she is also serving as a consultant with BUDA’s Diversity Committee, an effort to diversify membership, reaching out to women and girls of color to engage in the fun, friendship, and love of Ultimate.
Dana is currently a PhD student at Boston University in Applied Human Development with a focus in Sport Based Youth Development and Coaching Education. Her scholarship and research focuses on incorporating critical consciousness and social justice into sport and enhancing the field of coaching education.
Dana started playing Ultimate during college at Temple University and continues to play in Boston. She has been part of UP since 2016 and She is thrilled to have been able to be part of the UP experience. I cannot wait to be back. ALRIGHT Camp UP 2018!
