Frances didn’t start playing ultimate until she was 26 years old, but when she did it completely changed her life. She played for 5 years with the Santa Barbara college team the Burning Skirts, and 2 years with the Santa Barbara Condors. She taught an after school ultimate class for 5 years at her kids’ elementary school, and has led ultimate clubs for CoachArt, an organization that provides activities for kids with chronic illnesses. She has also been to Israel many times. Being a coach at Utimate Peace brings together almost all the things that she really cares about: working with youth, sharing Ultimate with a new generation, and working for peace between the Palestinians and Israelis.
