After 40 years of playing, coaching, and teaching Ultimate, Jeff is still enamored with Spirit of the Game. It is the reason why he started playing Ultimate, and it is the reason why he keeps playing as often as possible. Jeff began his Ultimate career as a junior in high school in New York City. His team won the New York state championship, and Ultimate has been a major part of his life ever since.

Jeff has competed in more than 15 national and world championships. He taught an Ultimate P.E. class at the California Institute of Technology from1996-2011, and uses Ultimate in his curriculum teaching special education classes at Madison Elementary School in Pomona, California. Jeff has also coached many college teams including The Claremont Braineaters, a team he founded as a freshman at Pitzer College in 1979.

When he got the chance to accompany The Matza Balls to Israel in October of 2005 a dream was realized. It was the highlight of his Ultimate career, until Ultimate Peace was founded. As a coach and founder of UP, Jeff has come to realize just how special and impactful Spirit of the Game can be. He looks forward to bringing his own spirit to camp every summer.
