Lauren began playing ultimate on her first day of college at the Ohio State University. She was hooked after the first practice. She spent four years playing on Fever, finishing with the team’s first ever trip to Nationals! After graduating, she experienced two ACL injuries. As she came back from that injury twice, she grew more involved with her local league, Westchester Ultimate Disc Inc. She has captained many teams and recently became a board member. She returned to competitive ultimate last year, playing in her first season of club with New York’s BENT. She loved playing for a club team and is looking forward to the upcoming season. After learning about Ultimate Peace, she knew she wanted to be a part of it. She is very excited for what she knows will be an incredible experience.
