Leija fell in love with ultimate in middle school and hasn’t looked back since. She recently graduated from high school in Amherst, Massachusetts where she captained her varsity team and devoted herself to the ultimate community. She has also played for and captained Boston’s youth club team, BUDA, and cannot wait to continue her competitive career at the college and club level next year. After coming to Ultimate Peace for the first time last summer, Leija is beyond excited to return to camp this year as a Lead LIT to continue to spread the sport she loves in a positive and impactful way, promote the spirit of peace, and have loads and loads of fun.
