Max Zaslove

Hometown: Seattle, Washington

Experience: Max has been playing Ultimate for 5 years now, and 8 seasons. He has been Captain on his high school team and has led the team to earn the second place medal twice consecutively in the Washington State Championships. He has also played on the U19 Mixed club team for Seattle at YCC.

Camp UP: Max got involved though his coach Moses Rifkin. He found out that Moses was involved with the program and quickly got excited about the camp and the message Ultimate Peace is trying to convey. With his help, Max was able to get connected with the program and his immediately expressed his interest to actually participate in creating the camp in Israel. One of the main reasons Max is drawn to Ultimate is the unique aspect of Spirit of the Game. The ideals of on-field integrity and sportsmanship are ones that Max values highly and jumped at the opportunity to promote them by using Ultimate as a teaching tool. As a CIT, he got a great taste of what it is like to be a part of the UP family and can’t wait to return for future years.
