Molasses Disaster is excited to be a part the Ultimate Peace program. We are a Mixed Master’s team out of Boston who values diversity of thought and background. We appreciate all that Ultimate Peace and other Ulti-Mates bring to the field and the world.
What’s with our name you ask? Here goes. On January 15, 1919 in the North End neighborhood of Boston, a large molasses storage tank burst and a wave of molasses rushed through the streets at 35 mph, destroying everyone and everything in its path. This is what we aim to do to our opponents, in the most metaphorical and spirited way, of course. Doing that in a literal sense would be immoral and cost prohibitive.
