Sarah first started playing ultimate seriously in high school at University Prep in Seattle. Her junior and senior year she co-captained both the coed and girl’s teams. For her senior year of high school, the girls’ team placed 3rd in state. Sarah plays in the adult summer league in Seattle and last summer she co-captained the YCC mixed team, which placed 2nd. Sarah is currently a student in the class of 2016 at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and playing for their women’s team, the Hungry, Hungry Hippos. After going to Ultimate Peace summer camp in 2012 as a CIT, Sarah couldn’t wait to return as an assistant coach. Sarah looks forward to this amazing opportunity of going to Israel to play her favorite sport, see old friends and make new ones, and to make a difference. Sarah feels at home at camp UP and is drawn back by the visible magic that happens every day.
