Originally from Michigan, Yaya caught the ultimate bug while in school at Chicago and has since been peddling her enthusiasm for the sport worldwide. Having experience captaining and coaching college teams, playing on elite women’s teams, and teaching it at summer camps while a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon, Yaya is no newcomer to spreading the love of ultimate. She is currently working on becoming the Camp Doctor of Ecology.
