I have been playing Ultimate Frisbee since my sophomore year of high school in 2009. I continued playing during my gap year with AmeriCorps NCCC and still play for my college team. I am going into my senior year of undergraduate school at Goucher College where I major in Peace Studies and captain the open Ultimate Frisbee team. While I have lived in many different places throughout my life, I was born in Jerusalem and decided that I would spend a semester studying abroad at the University of Haifa in Spring 2016. During this semester I had the opportunity to intern with Ultimate Peace, and coached in four different communities each week throughout the semester. Having been a camp counselor in the United States for the last 8 summers I have really enjoyed getting to coach kids of all ages with many different backgrounds. Ultimate Peace is the first organization that I have ever worked with that is making an effort to create peace among the different cultures of the Middle East, and I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of it. It has been a real pleasure to share my love of the game with so many kids in so many communities that I would have never known existed without Ultimate Peace.
