I started playing Ultimate in Grade 6 at Stratford Hall, a school so small that if it wanted to field a single gender soccer team, it would need players from 3-4 different grades. Thus, Ultimate was perfect because it was co-ed. After graduating, I went onto play a season with the Vancouver Nighthawks in the MLU and moved onto the Vancouver Riptide in the AUDL the following year. When I’m not playing, I’m coaching. A lot. I co-founded the only Ultimate Frisbee Academy in Canada called Elevate Ultimate Academy with fellow UP coach, Danie Proby, and I coach a local high school team in all of my spare time. I got to hang out with the LITs when they came to Vancouver on their Peace Tour and 5 days was not enough. I’m stoked to get to hang out with them and all the other campers and coaches this summer!
