Dara became enthralled by ultimate in 2007, beginning to play in local leagues and hat tournaments. She played on and co-captained the SUNY Fredonia College (’11) team the Terrifying Turtles and also with the Roc Paper Scissors women’s club team. Favorite ultimate experiences include going to Costa Rica’s Volcanic Hat Tournament and the annual count down of days to the Wildwood beach tournament each summer. She currently lives in Israel while pursuing a Master’s degree at Tel Aviv University in Security and Diplomacy studies and plays with Basic Joy of Play.
