Disc sports changed my life many years ago, for me the concept of SOTG is a life style that has to be applied in and off the field and in all sports. I had been involved with Disc sports for 34 years and counting.
Disc Sports Experience: I Introduced the sport of Ultimate in Venezuela in 1984, proud President and Founder of “Yanomami Ultimate”, first ever South American team to play in a WFDF event in 1991. As a member at large of the WFDF Board from 2007 to 2011, I helped on the unprecedented growth and development of the sport in the South American region, Still active in the regions of Central, South America and the Caribbean supporting the development and growth with the goal of changing the lives of many kids, spreading the teachings of the sport of Ultimate and the concept of the Spirit of the Game.
I have traveled to many countries because of my involvement with disc sports and the main motivation for me is “The Community” – the sharing in and off of the field with players, their families and spectators from different countries with no language, religion, political or race barriers is very rewarding.
