Leah was introduced to ultimate frisbee in Atlanta at Georgia Tech in September 2008, with the UP-famous Ben Spears as her first coach. She began coaching in 2010 at the high school and college level. She coached the W.D. Mohammed High School Girls, a team uniquely comprised of young women that identify as African American Muslims (2013-2015). She also coached Grayson HS Boys (2010-2012) and Georgia Tech Wreck (2013-2014).

Leah has competed with Atlanta Ozone Women’s Ultimate since 2015. Ozone finished 3rd at the 2017 USAU Club Nationals, qualifying them for the World Ultimate Club Championships tournament in July 2018. She also played with the Washington D.C. Scandal women (2012-2014), winning back-to-back USAU Club Nationals gold medals (2013, 2014).

Leah had the honor of being a part of a year-long UP fellowship program from 2016-2017. She absolutely LOVES Ultimate Peace and promoting the growth of women’s and youth ultimate! UP FAMILY!
