Marlie is a student, teacher, coach, and athlete who is eager to share her love for learning and/or ultimate with anyone willing to hear. She has played ultimate around the world for nine years, captaining and coaching a variety of teams from elementary to adult level. Her passion for education extends into her passion for ultimate as an excellent venue to explore social/emotional learning, while getting exercise! Marlie is a current Masters of Education student at the University of Washington through the IslandWood program. She hopes this opportunity helps her practice all of her teaching techniques (and cool throws) in a new setting.
