Hometown: Tel-Aviv and New York City
Ultimate experience: I played college ultimate with Brandeis Banshee for four amazing years. I have played with several local club teams in New York. I currently play for the London-based mixed team the Thundering Herd which finished top five in the UK last season. This past summer I had the incredible opportunity to coach the Israeli National Youth Team at EYUC in Poland.
How I got involved: When I first heard of UP it sounded surreal because it was such a perfect blend of my love for ultimate and my work with J-Street, a Pro-Israel Pro-Peace political organization. Coming to UP right after graduation solidified that both ultimate and my love for Israel and the Middle East region are here to stay. I look forward to return to camp, the amazing campers, and one-of-a-kind staff!

Originally hailing from Princeton, New Jersey, Alex learned how to play ultimate at summer camp in summer of 2003 and has been in love with the sport ever since. He captained his high school team P-HUC and then went onto play at Carleton for CUT for four years, winning two National championships (2009, 2011). He has also played competitive club ultimate with Pike (club nationals 2009) and Medicine Men (2011). Now a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University he is playing and coaching JHU Dangerzone. Alex first became involved with Ultimate Peace after hearing about the amazing time had by fellow CUT teammates in previous summers.
