Steve started playing ultimate when an 10th grader walked into his classroom and said “Hey Mr. Trenfield, can you sign this paper to be the ultimate frisbee sponsor?” Four years later, Steve is still coaching Austin High Ultimate, plays club with Riverside Messengers, and pickup every chance he gets. When he isn’t playing ultimate, he’s usually lesson planning for high school Algebra II and Statistics at the Academy for Global Studies at Austin High School.
