Dana first started playing true organized ultimate in 2013 when she began graduate school at Florida State University. She was a member of the FSU Seminole Ladies for two seasons including the 2015 year when they earned the program’s first ever section championship title, region championship title, and college nationals appearance. Dana also plays mixed ultimate during the club season. Since her very first step onto an ultimate field in 2013 she has had an undying love for the sport and it has truly changed her life. If it was not for the sport of ultimate, Dana would have never met her fiance, Gabe, and she most likely wouldn’t have any friends in her current city of Atlanta. Outside of her work as a high school athletic trainer, ultimate is basically Dana’s whole life and she is so excited to be able to share her passion with the campers at Ultimate Peace this year.
