The application for the 2015-16 Fellowship position is now online. The UP Fellowship is a nine-month residential and work appointment in the Middle East. It is an opportunity to contribute immensely to the mission of Ultimate Peace and work in, improve, and grow the sport of ultimate and cross cultural relations in the region. The UP Fellow is a vital member of the UP-Middle East team, and works closely with the local staff and volunteers.
The position is an amazing opportunity for Fellow to interact with a variety of different communities within the UP family, learning more about the cultures, traditions, and geography that make the Middle East such a vibrant place. In one day, a Fellow may find themselves traveling from one side of the region to the other, interacting with Jewish, Arab Israeli and Palestinian communities. A successful community practice may be capped off with a trip to the local humus restaurant, a dip in the Jordan river, or an evening out in Tel Aviv.
