Debbie Greiff has dedicated herself to helping solve big social problems with practical approaches. By nature and training, she is a boundary-spanner and connector between people, ideas, sectors and systems to improve the lives of youth and families in low-income communities. Debbie brings more than 20 years of experience consulting to and advising intermediaries and foundations focused on evidence-based community and systems change efforts in the areas of education, housing and community economic development, legal services and child care. She has provided leadership and strategic direction for the launch of two significant change efforts – building and scaling supportive housing models and systems to end homelessness and developing innovative college completion approaches to break the cycle of inter-generational poverty. Prior to consulting, Debbie led a multi-county nonprofit that created a nationally recognized model supportive housing program to promote economic self-sufficiency and independence and worked in graphic design, marketing and communications. In addition to Ultimate Peace, Debbie is on the board of Building Changes, a WA state intermediary dedicated to ending family homelessness. Debbie lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
