Glenn started playing competitive ultimate as a freshman at Watchung Hills Regional High School. He captained as a senior for both the WHRHS Warriors and for the Rutgers University men’s team, Machine. After playing for a fifth year at Rutgers, Glenn moved to Germany to teach English and helped lead the German national men’s team at the 2012 World Ultimate and Guts Championships. Upon returning to the United States Glenn captained the DC Breeze for their inaugural season in the AUDL, went on to play with the DC Current when they won the MLU championship in 2014, and has since played additional pro seasons with the DC Breeze and Philadelphia Phoenix. He has also played with multiple club open teams in the DC area, represented Germany at the World Championships of Beach Ultimate, and for two years served as head coach of the Georgetown University men’s team. He currently serves as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator for USA Ultimate and president of the nonprofit Washington Area Frisbee Club.

When not playing, coaching, organizing and volunteering, Glenn spends his time thinking about equity and education. After four years at nonprofits in DC, he’ll be starting a Ph.D. program this fall at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to study Education Leadership and Policy Analysis. He hopes to continue coaching in Madison, and looks forward to sharing his passion for building community with Ultimate Peace this summer.
