While her family knows her as Nicole, those in the ultimate community know her only as Lucky.  She found her home in the ultimate community by fluke in the summer of 2002, when her friend’s brother was setting up the first ultimate league in Kamloops, BC and needed people to sign up. At the time she had no idea that she was signing up for a life time of friends, adventure and competition. Her first competitive experience was with the UVic Vixens. When she moved to Calgary Lucky played in her first Canadian Ultimate Championship with the mixed team Crude, but has since returned to women’s ultimate, co-captaining Calgary’s women’s team Wild for five years. When she’s not on the ultimate field she works for an airline supporting flight attendants and she’s slowly collecting stamps in her passport.

Lucky is incredibly honoured to join Ultimate Peace this summer and she can’t wait to work with this incredible group of individuals.
