Paul learned how to play ultimate from his cousins who were playing for their college teams. As it grew into a family reunion tradition to play, he fell in love with the sport and never looked back. After captaining his high school team, Paul moved on to play for UNC-CH Darkside and eventually captained that team as well. While at UNC he not only played for his college and various club teams, but also started and coached a local high school’s team that has since developed into a thriving program and fierce state competitor. After relocating to Richmond, VA, Paul continues to play and coach (now for Virginia Commonwealth University). After hearing of Ultimate Peace from friends, Paul got involved as quickly as he could and knows that it has been one of the best decisions he has ever made.
